Oleksandr Omelchuk founded Phoenix Capital in July 2008 having over six years of successful experience in the Ukrainian investment banking sector. His career started in the Corporate Finance Department of UkrSibbank (BNP Paribas Group). After that, Oleksandr headed the Ukrainian operations of Hermis Capital, a Lithuanian private equity fund. In 2006, Omelchuk joined the Investment Banking Department of one of the leading Ukrainian investment banks. He quickly worked his way up the career ladder to Board Member and Managing Director. Under his leadership, investment banking team achieved leading positions with a 36% share of total equity capital raised for Ukrainian companies in 2007 - 1H 2008. Oleksandr  holds a Master's degree in international economics from the Kyiv Institute of International Relations.

Dmitry Gavrylenko, one of Phoenix Capital founders, is in charge of operations and interaction of the following groups within the Company: Investment Banking, International Sales and Trading, Local Sales, Research.

Dmitry has over six years of experience in the Ukrainian corporate finance and investment banking sectors. Having graduated from the Kyiv Institute of International Relations with Master Degree in International Economics and Master Degree in International Law, Dmitry has started his professional career with KPMG. In 2006  he joined Investment Banking Department of one of the leading Ukrainian investment banks where he successfully participated in executing more than 10 equity capital markets and M&A transactions with the total deal value exceeding USD 300 million.

Yuriy joined Phoenix Capital after "The First Western-Ukrainian Leasing Company" where he held a position of the Risk Management Director and was a Board Member. He was in charge of risk management system development, price determination and budgeting systems development as well as risk-management functioning methodology basics design, and capital adequacy monitoring for a large leasing company.

Yuriy has 11 years of experience in the finance sector which includes managerial positions in the leading financial institutions in Ukraine. During nine years Yuriy was in charge of risk management system development  and analytical support of corporate loan division at PrivatBank and UkrSibbank (BNP Paribas Group). After that, Yuriy took up a project with the International Finance Corporation (World Bank Group) - as finance and banking specialist, he worked on leasing development in Ukraine.

Yuriy holds Master's Degree in Finance and Banking from Ternopil National Economic University, he is a Certified Leasing Specialist. 

Andrey started his career on stock markets in Great Britain, where he worked at Link Assets and Securities London and BNP Paribas London. Since returning to Ukraine he has participated in some of the biggest transactions on the market, including public placement of MCB Agricole and UMH (Ukrainian Media Holding). He also has a successful record handling Eurobonds for Ukrainian companies. Andrey holds a Master’s degree in economics from University College London (UCL). 

Oleksandr Skubenko was with the company since its foundation. He has over 5 years of experience in corporate finance and project management. During his career, Oleksandr has taken part in over 25 transactions on capital markets worth in total in excess of $500 million. Prior to joining Phoenix Capital, Oleksandr worked in corporate finance department at UkrSibbank (BNP Paribas Group) and at the investment banking division of one of the leading Ukrainian investment banks. He has a master’s degree in management from Taras Shevchenko National University in Kyiv. 

Andrey Andriychuk heads investment banking division of the company. Before joining Phoenix Capital Andrey worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers in transactions services division and headed the investment department of a commercial bank. Andriy holds a Master’s degree in economics and АССА membership.
