Phoenix Capital Recognized as Top Financial Advisor in Ukraine by ISI DealWatch
November 25, 2009, KYIV, Ukraine: Kyiv-based investment bank Phoenix Capital was recognized by leading international information agency ISI DealWatch on Nov. 20 as the leading financial advisor in Ukraine for 2009 by total number of deals completed.
Over the last 12 months Phoenix Capital has concluded four investment-banking deals in Ukraine: finding of a strategic investor for RIA media corporation; advisory in BLG Logistics Group's acquisition of part of a joint infrastructure project with Vidi Group' the sale of controlling stock in Radio Net Ok FM, and a private placement of 25% in leading eastern Ukrainian agribusiness group Agroton Public Limited.
Despite a considerable correction felt on the Ukrainian and global stock markets since November 2008, Phoenix Capital has successfully completed four deals totaling $92 mln since that time.
